Scrapbooking and Markers

Inspiration has struck like so much lightning!
I was perusing Deviant art.com
and I came across a tutorial that talked about using scrap-booking backgrounds as...well, backgrounds for drawings.

Based on the instructions in the tutorial I decided to add my own personal touch to this idea.

(right:Handheld Fairy) To the right is what came out. I plan on experimenting with this further.

"What happens when an irresistible force meets an immovable object?" Discuss.

The lighting in the restaurant was subdued

When the irresistible force met the immovable object

He started with a cheesy line

“Hey do ya come here often?”

But he said it in a forceful tone

The immovable object was not moved and looked at him with dicuss…t

Flowers! YEA!

It's actually kind of ironic I really like drawing them
but...
I'm not actually a huge fan of flowers
Yeah I admit they are GORGEOUS and some smell absolutely AMAZING!
but many of them don't last long

but I digress

At long last I have finished another Flower girl!
and I'm really happy with the composition of this one.

and here's a quick peek at one I'm still working on.
this one isn't even completely traced

Why do girls become strippers?

more importantly
why do some man pay to watch strippers?
besides my grandma will do it for free
and with a meatloaf!

Fun with colored pencils!

Who knew a light table, some colored pencils, and an idea could be so much fun!
Ok,for some reason all my mentally inspired peoples end up dead center on the page. And after 'gandering' at a "Butterflies & Blossoms Stained Glass Coloring Book" I got to thinking. I'm not so good at making environments for my peoples to hang in, so why not just give them something to stand in front of! So I drew my person hanging in dead space then I traced the 'Blossom' around her leaving out the 'Butterflies' part, and after a splash of color the image started lookin' kinda spiffy^-^
I've got a lot of ideas going through my head as to what I can do with this, and these are only the first two! I'm so excited!
It's going to be interesting to see where this venture leads.

Videogames do not cause violence.

don't tell me games don't lead to violence
I know monopoly games that have started life long feuds
I know what you mean though
many serial killers watch horror films
not because it makes them violent
it gives them ideas
However video games do seem to be getting better
I'm waiting for splatter vision
if I'm going de-sensitized from violence I want a blood bath
